Canara Bank to help auto drivers

Canara Bank has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Three Wheels United India Services for financing individual auto rickshaw drivers in Karnataka under the project ‘Namma Auto’. This is a community uplift project undertaken by Three Wheels India United Sevices to ensure sustainable livelihood for poor auto rickshaw drivers by enabling them to acquire environment friendly four stroke LPG auto rickshaw through finance from Canara Bank. R.K.Dubey, CMD of the bank, and Ramesh S. Prabhu, director, Three Wheels United India Services, exchanged the MoU documents at the bank’s head office in Bangalore. P.S. Rawat, ED, and R. Madhusudan, GM of the bank were also there.
