Debit cardholders at BRAC Bank now have a new convenience. The bank has launched a multi-currency debit card that enables customers to carry out international transactions and make purchases from international e-commerce sites. Customers can now use this VISA debit card to pay for hotels, restaurants, and shops while travelling abroad, as well as to avail medical services in foreign hospitals, purchase foreign software, and boost advertisements on social media, among other things.
They can also get discounts at over 300 partner merchants. Cardholders can withdraw cash from any VISA ATM in the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This card can also be used in Bangladesh for ATM withdrawals, shopping, dining, POS, and e-commerce transactions, just like any other regular debit card.
