Bank of Baroda organized a Micro-Entrepreneurs Conclave 2018 to commemorate its 111th Foundation Day. This was an effort to emphasize the bank’s commitment to promote micro and small business entrepreneurs. On the occasion, the bank entered into a MoU with 10 companies ranging from segments as diverse as eCommerce, logistics, service providers to traditional small business. P. S. Jayakumar, MD and CEO of the bank, said the bank is committed to work jointly with various partners to support MSMEs and startups and the MOUs are intended to enhance its footprint in delivery of products and services in MSME ecosystem. This is an endeavor to simplify operational processes and to improve access to finance for MSMEs from early to growth stage, he added.
