BML, Naturals in tie-up

BMLBharatiya Mahila Bank has concluded a memorandum of understanding with Naturals, one of India’s unisex hair and beauty salons. C.K. Kumaravel, CEO & Co Founder, Naturals, said the objective is to empower women with resources. Majority of the women, who own salons in various parts of the country, are from the middle class and it is not very easy to get a bank loan to set up various facilities in every outlet. As part of this partnership women with entrepreneurial skills can look forward to setting up a Naturals spa, salon or lounge for which they can avail of financial assistance in terms of loans from Bharatiya Mahila Bank. Usha Ananthasubramanian, CMD of the bank, said the partnership will help aspiring women showcase their hidden talent and unshackle themselves from the worries of investment. Naturals has 17 salons in north India and more than 350 salons across India. Kumaravel said the firm plans to open 650 stores across India which will be the highest in Asia. Besides it will be opening 50 salons in the UAE and GCC region this year, he added.
