Major banks in the country have urged customers to use digital channels for transactions in view of their precautionary action to reduce the number of operating staff at branches in the light of the threat posed by coronavirus. Most of the banks have also changed their working hours most of them functioning from 10 am to 2 pm till 31 March except on Saturday. Several customer interacting activities like passbook printing have been suspended.
