Banco Santander and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) have launched the first Santander Scholarships Skills | MBA Essentials 2022 – LSE, with 900 scholarships available to residents of 13 different countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Peru, Spain, UK, Uruguay, and the USA).
LSE, one of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions in economics and business, has designed this 10-week online course. The primary objective is to provide participants, in record time, with the main tools that are provided by an MBA — helping with decision-making and creating impact in their professional environments.
They are free of charge, and applicants do not need a university degree or to be a customer of the bank. MBA Essentials empowers participants to make better business decisions and lead with influence.
Blanca Sagastume, Deputy Director of Santander Universities, commented: “We are helping to make business skills accessible to people outside management positions in any organisation. We are looking to create transversal benefits and help to optimize human resources at a company and, provide tools that will give the individual beneficiaries of the scholarship greater scope for upskilling and reskilling.”
