Axis Bank is planning to sell its trustee services, Axis Trusteeship. The bank wants to sell off its non-core businesses and focus on its core banking business. The bank is said to be negotiating with Beacon Trusteeship for the sale. General Atlantic Partners was also interested in the business, but it had left the talks and the bank has entered into fresh negotiations with Beacon Trusteeship. Axis Trusteeship is valued at about Rs 200-225 crore.
