AU Small Finance Bank commenced its operations in Odisha with the first branch in Bhubaneshwar. Ashok Chandra Panda – Minister of State for Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Public Enterprises, Science & Technology and Anant Narayan Jena, MLA of Bhubaneswar Central, launched the operations of the bank in the city. AU Small Finance Bank has been steadily increasing its reach in states including Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Orissa. The bank now has over 730+ banking touchpoints in 15 states and 2 union territories. Uttam Tibrewal, Executive Director of the bank, said the bank is excited to contribute to Bhubaneshwar’s progress and it is looking forward to serving the residents of the city. This is an important step in the bank’s journey to becoming a bank with a pan India presence. As a digitally focused bank, it will aim to offer more convenient banking and tailored solutions to the residents of Bhubaneshwar, he added.
