System integrator Myanmar Millennium Group and Atos are partnering to offer Atos’ banking as a service product to MMG’s financial institution customers. The agreement aims to accelerate future expansion of the banks and financial institutions industry in Myanmar. Atos BaaS is a banking platform that manages and supports a range of banking operations, from current and savings accounts, deposits, to credits, loans and collections. It also supports such key services as sweeps, standing instructions, direct debits and credits and international payments. Leveraging MMG’s local capabilities, Atos will aim to offer banks in Myanmar a product to supplement their core platforms. Such supplemental services include consulting and design, applications transformation, rationalization and migration, testing and acceptance management, security and access management services, smart mobility and contextual services and IT outsourcing, data management and applications management.
