Arun Shrivastava, ED at Bank of India, has been appointed MD and CEO of Syndicate Bank. He has taken over charge of the new position. The appointment comes after nine months after S.K. Jain, then CMD of the bank, was arrested in a corruption case. According to a statement by the bank, Shrivastava will hold charge of the bank up to the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
