HSBC has appointed Anurag Mathur as head of its retail banking and wealth management business in Singapore. He will be responsible for driving and executing the bank’s strategy for the RBWM business in Singapore. He will report to HSBC Singapore’s CEO, Guy Harvey-Samuel and HSBC’s head of RBWM of Asia Pacific, Kevin Martin. This follows the appointment of Matthew Colebrook to lead HSBC’s RBWM business for the Middle East region. Colebrook was previously HSBC Singapore’s head of RBWM. Mathur joined the HSBC in Hong Kong in 2009 and has held senior roles for RBWM including product management, strategic planning and business performance management.
