Airtel Payments Bank has appointed Anubrata Biswas as its MD & CEO. Prior to joining Airtel Payments Bank, he was joint general manager and retail business head – South India, at ICICI Bank, responsible for managing the retail business at over 550 branches of the bank. He has also held several senior positions in ICICI Bank, including retail banking head at ICICI Bank UK, and head of NRI and Remittances at ICICI Bank. He is a mechanical engineer and PGDBM from IIM, Ahmedabad.
