Andhra Bank is at the No 1 position in agricultural and other priority sector lending in Andhra Pradesh. According to a report by the State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC), by the end of the first half of the financial year, the bank provided Rs 1,793.24 crore advances for the agricultural sector with a total share of 21.66. State Bank of India provided Rs 918.76 crore loans to the sector with a share of 11.1%. In other priority sector lending, Andhra Bank disbursed Rs 11,535.8 crore with a share of 20.79%, while SBI disbursed Rs 10,964.13 crore with a share of 19.76%. The total deposits of all 6,679 bank branches in the state is Rs 2,05,815 crore and advances are worth Rs 2,20,295 crore with credit-deposit ratio of 107.04%. The total priority sector lending in the state is Rs 1,56,180 crore and agricultural lending is Rs 91,415 crore.
