Andhra Bank will offer 24×7 banking facility at all its branches in a phased manner. The bank’s ED Ajit Kumar Rath said the intention is to tap the new generation customers. Inaugurating the ‘Navshakti’ branch in Hyderabad, Rath said people need not any longer wait in long queues to transact at fixed business hours as in conventional branches. Navshakti branches are a boon to customers as they can transact leisurely even at night after their regular office hours, he said, adding six more such branches would be opened in the zone in the next two to three months.
