Andhra Bank intends to have managed ATM services and has invited bids from service providers for the purpose. The bank has some 1850 ATMs/ cash dispensers which are of Diebold, NCR, Wincor and LIPI make. Of these 1850 ATMs, 1176 are onsite ATMs and 674 offsite. The bank wants the selected service provider to not only provide managed ATM services but also take responsibility for services including cash replenishment for 500 ATMs (offsite/onsite). Both existing as well as new ATMs shall be outsourced by the bank. The service provider will also take the responsibility for ensuring that the overall downtime of ATMs in the network does not go above the levels 3% for metro and urban areas and 4% for semi urban and rural areass and maintaining average minimum availability of 97% of ATMs in metro and urban places and 96% in semi urban and rural areas, to the end user, calculated monthly for each ATM, without any exclusion. The service provider will also take up the tasks of 24 X 7 monitoring of ATMs, incidence / event management & help desk, first line maintenance besides consumable replenishment and dash replenishment services including end to end cash reconciliation and branch cash reconciliation for ATMs which are to be outsourced for cash replenishment.
