Saudi Arabia’s Alinma Bank has introduced contactless NFC withdrawals at selected ATMs. It is the first bank in the kingdom to offer contactless capability at ATMs. Abdulmohsen Al Fares, CEO of the bank, said with NFC ATM withdrawals, the bank continues to meet and exceed partner expectations. He added that for individuals on the go, NFC withdrawals represent a true convenience – just wave the card near the NFC terminal on the ATM, enter the required PIN and take the cash. It is safe, simple and secure, he added. Alinma Bank has a network of 156 branches and more than 1460 ATMs across Saudi Arabia. It also provides 24×7 self-service banking via the internet and mobile devices.
