HDFC Bank has appointed Rakesh Singh as head of its private banking business. Singh will continue to head the bank’s investment banking, capital markets and financial institutions businesses, in addition to this new responsibility. The private banking unit caters to HNIs and ultra HNIs, families and establishments, who aim to successfully manage and grow their wealth. The unit had assets under advice of over Rs 93,000 crore across over 16,000 families in India and overseas.
