Bank Sohar of Oman has selected IBM Cloud and IBM MobileFirst to help in its digital transformation. The bank said it wanted a flexible development platform for developing and managing mobile applications and therefore selected IBM MobileFirst and IBM Cloud. The MobileFirst platform gives the bank a single platform for all its mobile apps. An IBM spokesperson said by choosing this platform on IBM Cloud, Bank Sohar was able to streamline its IT environment and gain flexibility in using its infrastructure to become an engine of innovation.
