Software corporation Wipro said it is launching an open banking API platform for the benefit of banks and financial services institutions. The company feels this will help its banking and financial institution customers to simplify transactions. The platform will allow third-party developers to build applications relevant to the customers. It will also help banks and financial institutions create new forms of distribution channels and servicing capabilities, in addition to providing access to third-party application marketplaces, Wipro said. The platform uses IBM API Connect.
