UBS Wealth Management Americas is introducing new technology features for its wealth management customers. The newest features include cash awards functionality and tools to facilitate online portal navigation. The new cash awards functionality increases the flexibility of cash awards payments. The new portal navigation tool is called UBS OneSource Mirror. It allows UBS financial advisors and company plan administrators to view and track what clients are seeing as clients navigate through the online portal. Advisors and administrators will be able to quickly direct clients in the right direction if they are having trouble locating a statement or other information. The feature clients will like the most is the ‘Navigate to User’ button, which will automatically redirect them to the very same page that the participant is viewing, giving them the ability to follow the participants in real-time and better service them overall, according to the bank. These two enhancements were added on the heels of the Knowledge Center, a portal for corporate employees that contains financial planning advice and educational information on equity awards. The firm is also adding capabilities to allow participants to view accounts in multiple currencies, and a tool to help plan sponsors to better model and forecast. Those and other features are planned for later this year.
