Allahabad Bank has a new CMD – Rakesh Sethi. He took over charge recently. Allahabad Bank was not having a CMD ever since SHubhalakshmi Panse retired earlier this year. Prior to this elevation, Sethi was an ED at Punjab National Bank. A gold medalist from Osmania University, Hyderabad, he began his career with Andhra Bank in 1978 and has worked in various positions. He has excellent exposure to risk management, deposit planning and government business of banks.
