Punjab National Bank said it has been rated as the No 1 state-owned bank in digital transactions in the country by the department of financial services. It has also been rated as the 6th overall amongst all banks in India for digital performance. The bank said in a statement based on the findings of the department, it has been ranked No 1 PSU bank in digital transactions in India. The bank is rated as ‘Good’ by the government with a score of 71 which is the highest category of performance, it added. The average percentage of technical declines in the bank is just 0.83% of the total transactions, which is an achievement in itself, it said.
