Nepal Rastra Bank and the International Finance Corporation have signed an agreement to pilot a psychometric scoring solution in Nepal’s financial sector.
The scoring solution enables financial institutions to statistically analyse the personality and psychological traits of potential borrowers in order to generate a risk profile as a first step in building a formal credit history to access formal financial services, thereby expanding the reach of financial services to previously unbanked clients.
