Karnataka Bank has launched its first digital branch at Nettakallappa Circle in Bengaluru. This is the bank’s 821st branch. Ramamohan Rao Belle, director, inaugurated the branch in the presence of MD and CEO M.S. Mahabaleshwara and others. Mahabaleshwara said the bank is in the process of powering its channels with the use of more and more digital technology with the twin objective of providing better customer experience as well as improving our own operational efficiency. He said the digi branch covers account opening, issue and activation of personalized debit cards, internet banking, mobile banking, fund transfer within bank/ NEFT/RTGS, cash transaction through cash recyclers, etc.
