Chief minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the state-of-the-art corporate office of the Cosmos Cooperative Bank – Cosmos Tower- in Pune. Fadnavis said he is quite impressed by the conveniences at the new office of the bank and felt that since the cooperative sector is continuously undergoing changes, it is necessary for banks to transform according to the changes to survive. He also stressed on the need for banks to work for financial inclusion to develop the entire society. Chairman of the bank Krishnakumar Goyal felicitated Fadnavis and welcomed the dignitaries. Among those present on the occasion were Anil Shirole and Sanjay Kakade, MPs, Dilip Kamble, Maharashtra minister for Tribal Development & Social Justice, Dattatray Dhankawde, mayor of Pune, Milind Kale, vice chairman, Dr Mukund Abhyankar, chairman.emeritus and Vikrant Ponkshe, MD of the bank.
