Central Bank of India is planning to undertake a cyber security audit and a comprehensive audit of its CBS and other applications. The bank has sought proposals from firms capable of handling the audit job. The assignment would include auditing IT infrastructure consisting of hardware, software, CBS & other related applications, network, cyber security, database, operating system, storage, event correlation and analysis etc. The auditing firm would be required to carry out audit of activities at data center, DR site and other activities for providing independent assurance to the management on robust IT security, help in mitigation of risks, safeguarding the information assets, maintaining security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of data, efficient utilization of resources, ensuring compliance of IT security policy and procedures defined by the bank and ensuring compliance of RBI Information Security Guidelines/recommendation and other applicable external regulations.
