Bank of India launches 3 startup focused branchesBank of India has launched three special startup centers through dedicated branches in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi. These branches are a part of the Central Government’s initiative to promote a thriving culture of startups in India.

These branches will offer all the necessary banking services to startups under one roof, serving as a hub for entrepreneurs in the startup ecosystem and providing end-to-end financial services. The branches will have a special startup desk with a relationship manager.

Bank of India MD & CEO Rajneesh Karnatak inaugurated the startup desk virtually at two of these branches while being physically present to inaugurate the branch at Turbhe, Navi Mumbai.

Rajneesh Karnatak said, “Bank of India has given an in-principal approval for seven startup branches today beginning with Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi. These startup branches will add to our MSME book, which is the thrust area for our bank and the country.”

The three identified startup-focused branches are: Bengaluru main branch, Parliament Street Branch in New Delhi and Turbhe in Navi Mumbai.

Bank of India has identified nine more centres for startup-focused branches. These centres will be operational in the near future.
