Bank of India, which has been in the news over the proposal to merge it with two other banks, said it has not received any suggestions from any quarter in this regard. News reports earlier said the government is mooting a merger of the bank with UCOO| Bank and Indian Overseas Bank. Chairman of the bank G. Padmanabhan said at no stage the Banks Board Bureau had discussed this as a possible strategy nor has the bank received this suggestion from any quarters.
