YES Bank and its social development arm YES Foundation have been presented the ‘Corporate Social Crusader of the Year’ award at the 6th Annual Olive Crown Awards 2016 organized by International Advertising Association, India Chapter. The bank has received the recognition for its unique YES Community Clean India initiative under which the bank’s branches launched cleanliness drives through its YES Community platform by partnering with local municipal authorities, youth clubs, colleges, schools, traders associations and NGOs. The campaign attracted participation of over 100,000 individuals in the cleanliness drive at corporate offices, resident welfare associations and clubs through 973 activities. YES Foundation is the only corporate foundation across India to have received this award for its flagship program YES! I am the Change, a nationwide mindset transformation program aimed to drive the spirit of positive social change amongst the youth through the medium of films. In 2015, movement emerged as the world’s largest social film movement with over 3,100 films and participation of over 5 lakh individuals from 2,500 cities and towns across India.
