Rana Kapoor, CEO of YES Bank, has been awarded with the ‘Business Innovator Award’ by the Asian Business Leadership Forum in Dubai for building India’s 4th largest private sector bank in a short span of time. The award, given as a part of the Asia Business Leadership Weekend in Dubai, was presented to him by Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE minister of Economy. A statement issued by the forum said the Gulf Cooperation Council region, in particular the UAE, is an important global economic hub with long standing trade and cultural ties with India and YES Bank has also recently announced its first global footprint in Abu Dhabi with the launch of an international representative office to enhance engagement with leading businesses and Indians in this region. The forum felicitated 12 outstanding Asian government dignitaries, industrialists, economists, policymakers and young entrepreneurs.
