UAE’s Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank has launched uBank, a digital banking center, which is the first of its kind in the Emirates. The bank said uBank affords a transition from conventional banking channels to a paperless digital experience using biometric authentication, a digital signature system and video assistance from a virtual relationship officer. New customers can open a bank account and receive a debit card, credit card and cheque leaves instantly. In addition, it can also service several requirements for existing customers including emergency replacement of credit or debit cards. The bank is planning 2 more uBanks shortly.
