Wipro to implement CBS at Paytm Bank

Mobile wallet service provider Paytm is collaborating with Wipro to create the required technology infrastructure for its payments bank. Paytm said Wipro will be implementing the CBS and undertake integration of key systems. Paytm said Wipro will play a crucial role in helping the company interface its existing systems with the CBS. It will also put in place and manage the data centers for the payments bank in order to ensure smooth functioning of the new unit. This part of the series of tie-ups the firm has planned while launching the bank. According to Shinjini Kumar, chief executive-designate of the bank, technology is an integral part of the value proposition the proposed bank seeks to create for customers and it wants to ensure that the innovative solutions are integrated with CBS in a compliant and secure manner, creating the right platform for service delivery at large scale.
