S.S. Mundra, deputy governor, RBI, inaugurated Bank of India’s museum at the bank’s main branch in Mumbai. Mundra also released a book titled ‘The Bank of India – 100 years of Prudential Banking’, written by Abhik Ray, showcasing different vignettes of the bank such as Mahatma Gandhiji having an account with the bank. The book takes a detailed look at the proud history of the bank. Mrs. V.R. Iyer, CMD of Bank of India, B.P. Sharma, R.P. Marathe and R.A. Sankara Narayanan, EDs of the bank and others were present on the occasion.
