The central government has extended the tenure of NABARD chairman Harsh Kumar Bhanwala by 6 months. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension with effect from 18 December 2019. Bhanwala was appointed chairman and MD of NABARD in December 2013 appointed as the chairman of NABARD.
