ICICI Securities said it has appointed Vijay Chandok as MD and CEO of the company. He will also be an additional director on the board of the company. The appointment will take effect from 7 May, the company said. Chandok is at present an ED at ICICI Bank. ICICI Securities is a subsidiary of ICICI Bank. Meanwhile, Shilpa Kumar, who has been MD and CEO at ICICI Securities, is expected to return to the bank to take up a senior level position. Chandok, who joined the ICICI group in 1993, has been ED at the bank, responsible for international banking group, small and medium enterprises, commercial banking group, markets group, proprietary trading group and structural rate risk management group.
