Indian Bank is looking to implement humanoid robots for customer service in its branches. The intention is for the robots to be deployed at ‘May I Help You’ counters to respond to basic banking queries from customers. The bank wants the robots to be programed to recommend products and services to the customers, collect customer data and provide analytics on the data collected to identify patterns and predict trends. The robots should also facilitate live account opening, user recognition and provide entertainment to the customers. The bank wants the service provider to create a system that should be able to interact with the bank’s APIs, read customer profile and suggest products and services and interact with devices available in the bank and follow service code development/standards.
