The Tamilnad Mercantile Bank has won the Social Banking Excellence Award, announced by ASSOCHAM. The award, under small banks category, was given in recognition for undertaking government schemes, urban and agricultural banking. TMB is receiving the same award for the third consecutive year. Minister of state for finance Jayant Sinha handed over the award. TMB general manager M. Gunasekaran said the bank dedicates the award customers, stakeholders and workforce.
