SVC Bank is now offering gold loans to its customers in order to meet their urgent fund needs. The bank is offering gold loans for personal requirements (loan to individuals for marriage, medical expenses, educational expenses) and for business requirements (loan for business purposes, including business expansion, business travel). Explaining how easy it is for the customers to avail a gold loan, Ajit Venugopalan, MD of the Bank, said the loan approval is almost instantaneous if one fulfils the eligibility criteria. The loan will have a maximum tenure of 60 months after ascertaining the purity and the value of the gold ornaments pledged, he said adding salaried, self-employed professionals, self-employed non-professionals and housewives in the age group 21-65 years are eligible to get gold loans. The bank offers loans up to Rs 20 lakh.
