Indian Bank’s Association has selected Sunil Mehta, MD and CEO of Punjab National Bank as its chairman for 2018-19. It said in a release Mehta was elected chairman for the term 2018-19 at a meeting of the managing committee. The meeting also elected Dina Bandhu Mohapatra, MD & CEO, Bank of India, as deputy chairman. Shyam Srinivasan, MD & CEO, Federal Bank and Rajnish Kumar, chairman, State Bank of India, will continue to be deputy chairmen. Madhav Nair, country head & CEO, Mashreqbank PSC, has been elected as the honorary secretary, the release added.
