Sun Life Global Solutions, a leading global capability centre, has announced a strategic partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore to advance innovation in the insurance sector. The collaboration aims to leverage cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and generative AI to enhance client experiences.
Key focus areas include improving risk assessment, streamlining claims processing, and optimizing customer segmentation. Additionally, the partnership will offer IIT Indore students’ hands-on exposure to data analysis and real-world industry applications, with opportunities for internships at Sun Life.
Professor Suhas S. Joshi, director of IIT Indore, highlighted the importance of collaboration in fostering innovation and building a skilled workforce, especially within the growing global capability centre (GCC) ecosystem.
