Societe Generale and Diners Club International have signed agreement that will bolster Discover and Diners Club card acceptance in France. As part of this strategic alliance, Societe Generale will add acceptance of Discover and Diners Club cards to its payments processing services portfolio, beginning in 2014. After an agreement with UnionPay International focused on Chinese tourists in France in June 2013, Societe Generale continues delivering on its long lasting commitment to provide merchants with solutions best suited to meet the needs of their foreign customers. Discover’s international roadmap concentrates on building strong merchant acceptance for its card members who either are travelling or living abroad, France ranked as one of the top tourist destinations in the world.
