Kshatrapati Shivaji, IAS, has been appointed CMD of SIDBI. His appointment will be on a deputation for a period of three years. A 1986 batch IAS officer, he is currently the principal secretary (Expenditure) in the finance department of the Maharashtra government. Eaarlier he had served as director of state-run MOIL and as principal secretary of industries in the state, besides CMD of Maharashtra State Financial Corporation. He also served as director of Sicom.
