Axis Bank’s former MD and CEO Shikha Sharma has been appointed a director on the board of Tech Mahindra. Along with her, the company has also appointed Haigreve Khaitan, managing partner of Khaitan & Co. Their appointments, subject to shareholder approval, are for a period of 5 years from 1 August, after the company’s annual general meeting. Earlier, Sharma has been appointed a director on the board of Tata Global Beverages. Sharma, 60, has more than 3 decades of experience in the financial sector. Before Axis Bank, she was MD and CEO of ICICI Personal Financial Services and ICICI Prudential Life.
