Sharjah Islamic Bank will be using Infosys’ Finacle e-banking and mobile banking solutions. The bank said with Finacle it would be able to offer its customers a wide range of features for secure account management and aggregation, fund transfer, payment, and financial management. Jassem Al Baloushi, head, Retail Banking of the bank said Infosys will be the bank’s partner for e-Banking and mobile banking requirements and the bank selected the digital banking solutions to overhaul its channel capabilities. This will help the bank deliver a superior online and mobile banking experience to its customers, he added. Michael Reh, senior vice president and global head of Finacle, said as Islamic banking matures, ensuring superior customer experience and omni-channel access will be critical for growth. Infosys Finacle’s digital-channel functionality will put in place a robust platform at Sharjah Islamic Bank that will enable a world-classbanking experience for customers. This partnership further adds to the growing number of Finacle deployments in the region, he added.
