Sanjiv Misra will continue to be the non executive chairman of Axis Bank for a period of three more months. The bank said in a statement that the term of Misra, a nominee of Specified Undertaking of the Unit Trust of India (SUUTI) as non executive chairman expired on 7 March 2016 upon completion of tenure of 3 continuous years. SUUTI has re-appointed him as the non executive chairman on a part time basis for a period of three months, it added.
