RBL Bank chatbot can now take up transactions

RBL Bank said its AI-powered conversational chatbot RBL Cares is now capable of undertaking transactions and several other real-time customer service jobs relating to banking and credit card products and services. The chatbot has been built in partnership with Senseforth.ai, a leader in the conversational AI space. It has successfully answered over 4 million queries in less than 6 months of its launch in January 2020, with an accuracy of over 95%. Apart from helping customers with answers to their queries, RBL Cares helps customers to check heir account balance, credit card balance, generate statements, block/unblock debit and credit cards, request cheque book, advise stop payments and a host of other activities. With the upgrading it can now facilitate transactions like fund transfers via NEFT or IMPS. Information related to the covid moratorium facility etc. Sunny Uberai, Head–Client Services at the bank, said during the nationwide lockdown due to the pandemic, the bank witnessed a huge surge of approximately 500% in  chatbot conversations. The bot, he said, was implemented to provide a convenient and quick service experience to the customers and enable them to perform banking activities from the comfort of their couch.
