Paytm has introduced a new health and income protection plan, ‘Paytm Health Saathi’, exclusively for its merchant partners through the ‘Paytm for Business’ app.
The Paytm Health Saathi plan aims to ensure the well-being and business continuity of merchants by providing them with affordable coverage. Priced at just Rs 35 per month, the plan includes unlimited doctor teleconsultations, in-person doctor visits (OPD) within a partner network, and income protection cover for business interruptions caused by accidents, natural disasters like floods and fires, or strikes.
The teleconsultation service is powered by MediBuddy, offering additional benefits such as discounts at leading pharmacies and on diagnostic tests. The streamlined claim process allows merchants to complete claims with just a few clicks within the app, enabling them to focus on their business without added stress.
The pilot program for Paytm Health Saathi began in May and over 3,000 merchant partners have already enrolled.
