P K Gupta has been selected as managing director, in place of corporate banking head P Pradeep Kumar. Pradeep Kumar is retiring from the post at the end of October. Gupta, who is of deputy managing director rank, is currently SBI Caps’ MD. His appointment will be for a period of four years (March 2020) when he will retire. The other three MDs at SBI are B Sriram (national banking group), V G Kannan (associates and subsidiaries) and Sunil Srivastava (DMD corporate services and new business).
