Norway’s DNB is partnering with IOTA Foundation, which is into developing the next generation of protocols for the connected world, to explore ways to implement the new technologies and processes made possible by the latter’s ‘Tangle’, which is a system that enables fee-less microtransactions for the Internet of Things. DNB specializes in investment banking, global markets and corporate banking. It is a global leader in banking for the shipping, energy, and seafood industries. The partnership comes after an announcement that IOTA would work with a key logistics firm for the United Nations.
