Lakshmi Vilas Bank has appointed B.K. Manjunath as an additional director in the category of non-executive and independent directors. The bank has received RBI approval for the appointment. The bank also said Manjunath will be the part-time chairman of the bank for a tenure of three years. He is a practicing chartered accountant for the last 25 years and has experience and knowledge in project financing, business administration and management. He has been acting as an advisor, consultant and represented various groups of industries and MNC companies in India. He also appears before various income tax secretariat department authorities, income tax appellate tribunal, settlement commission etc. He had also served as an Independent director of the bank during the period from 2008 to 2015.
